Whenever i watch TV and a commercial advertisement comes on it i change the channel as i don't like to see them :evil: and go to other channel but forget to come back to the previous channel :woohoo: and repent afterwards for missing the program. :woohoo: :woohoo: Does it happen to you guys? :)

You can directly switch OFF you TV directly from the switch board don't need to use remote for it. :laugh:


SJ when would you learn the art of saving money? Using switches occasionally is not a good habit. You may ruin them and changing a switch costs about 75/. :laugh: My remote is in warntee yet. :P

I do have the habit of channel surfing and end up watching too many different channels.Once I remember there were two good movies shown on max and hbo at the same time, and I kept shifting from one to the other ... :blink: :unsure:

You can very well do that with half an hour's break at your disposal provided they have no adverts slot at the same time. :)

Sanjeev it never happens with me, because am particular about the program am watching, but when my dad watch the tv, then it happens many times as he is not like me particular about the program, he like to watch any program of his taste

I too have this bad habit of swapping channels as I get bored of a show very early. I don't change channels only when I am watching a dance show. ;)

Same is about me my family members always hide remote from me they know if I will get it I will start changing channels only. :laugh:

The fact is one cannot stay with same channel to watch more adverts than the programs. They are having long sessions of ads too frequently.

yes exactly sunilji, before ads used to come between the serial, now serial is between the ads. so no one will have much patience to watch all the advertisements

I have noticed on some channels they show films without a break or break of just 1~2 minutes and they promote their channels for it. :woohoo:

So that means such channels are much concern about the viewers, that means as they won't give much breaks, so viewers will show much interest to watch that channel, so the ads which they telecast will be more valued one

Now a days Ads have become more popular. Popularity is increased. Yes, many ads are shown in between the serials.

Exactly they know if they show more ads people will go away from that channel that's the reason they try to keep the viewers on that channel only, :blink:

TV advertisement help us to know about various products.But when it comes in between any program I really get angry.But still I never jumped to other channel.

We also don't see TV at home.But recently started to see SATYMEV JOYATE.
