On June 2nd, re-elections is to be held in Neyyattinkara constituency of Kerala. Drama took place when communist MLA gave his resignation 2-3 months before. Selvaraj, the resigned communist MLA is now Congress candidate.  . Lourence is Communist candidate and former Railway minister O.Rajagopal is BJP candidate.
This constituency is notorious for caste votes. More than 50% voters belong to Nadar community and they can really influence the result. Since this community is found only in the southern parts of states and Tamil Nadu, many voters give their vote according to caste, thinking they may do something for the caste.
This time, both congress and communist candidates are from Nadar community. So, voters will really be confused? Also, will people vote for Selvaraj as he has changed the party? Will BJP get the benefit of this, since votes will split? But they have never won a seat till now.
Most influencing factor would be T.P.Chandrasekhar murder. CPM is accused of it and Congress using this as a better opportunity to fight with full confidence.
What do you think? Who will win this time?

Ya you are right who spend more money they definitely wins the election...
But money is not the only factor. It can influence only a few people. Isn't it?
But money be a big factor and i also agree it doesn't influence most of the people....
Money may not affect people directly. But a candidate spending more money reaches more voters and can canvass more and better. Thus he is likely to get more votes and win.

BJP is a bit weak in this section. If we consider money factor only, both Congress and Communists have equal changes. So, it's better to neglect this factor

I asked you to predict the winner according to the conditions I have given. It's sure, money is not the first factor. Yet, I agree it has its own importance....like a marketing factor
