Hi All,

We are pleased to announce another contest Member of the Week. The primary requirement for entering into this contest and becoming a winner is the maximum number of points. Please read the below terms and conditions.

  1. The contest starts on Monday and ends on Sunday (Monday 1:30 PM IST). The winner name will be published on following Sunday. Please make a note of time, it is the server time counted and not your computer's. The server time is GMT-5.
  2. The points earned with the following activities are considered while deciding the winner.
    • Forum posts and replies
    • Article Posting
    • Article Reading (Minimum time between each point is 1 minute)
    • Community Activities
    • Games Activities
    • Posting & Reading reviews
    • Documents submission

    All other activities are not considered for this contest.
  3. All boddunan general terms and conditions applicable.


Prize
Leader: Rs.50
Next Four in leader board: Rs.25 each
Next Five in leader board: Rs.10 each

[strike]Note: A user cannot get this award more than once in TWO successive weeks even if he become top points earner. The next highest point earner will be considered for that week award. This is to increase the healthy competition and give a chance to other members who cannot score quickly.[/strike]

There is a slight change in the contest.

From now onwards, each forum post will earn 3 points and each forum reply will earn 5 points provided the length of the post is greater than 80 characters. This is to encourage more participation on forums.

Its a very nice change. Because when we are considering the active participation in the forum to a great extend, this is a nice change which makes members to actively contribute to forum..

Hi All,

Due to a small bug with the software, the leader board was displaying the statistics for the entire month instead of the current and last week. It is now corrected. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

The point system is very good now.
And Its good to give good points for Good writers.
But Maverick how will it calculated on length basis or editors will decide how much to give?

The points are given for various activities. Please see the Points and Rank system topic link on home page.

Oh...Great one.But the point system again modified by introducing 80 character length reply.If it is less will it be as earlier?

There is nothing new introduced. The 80 character limit is present earlier as well.

Btw.. The contest starts on every Monday 1:30PM and closes on the same time next week. This is because of the server time 10:30 hours behind us.

But What everpoint shown on leather board its total point of the week or its only calculated point as per context rules for postings.

It is the total points calculated on eligible rules only for the week.

Could you please let me know which one you want to know that is started? Contest, eligible rules or times?

Contest is started last week and you can see winner in last tab of leader board.

Eligible rules are stated in contest information topic on forums.

Start time and end time are server dependent and is stated many times.

Following the feedback from the last few days, the minimum required characters in a forum reply to get the points has reduced to 50.

Hope this will help every one to get some points through forum activity.
