It may be a matter of satisfaction that two Indian languages, namely Hindi and Bangla are among the most spoken languages in the world.

It is thing of proud to all Indian that our two languages are famous all over the word.

It's not surprising that Hindi is among the top 10, when India is the second most populated country of the world. About Bangla, it's a new piece of information to me.
Once I read Malayalam is among the top 25 languages spoken in the world. Actually all the south Indian languages come in the top 25.

Although Bangla is spoken in West Bengal, the main country stated is Bangla Desh. India is main country for Hindi.

It is a nice information and as bangali i am proud to know this.


I have some full article on this topic in different sites. I fact Bengali has so much people speaking it because Bangladeshi also speak it as their mother tongue. Therefore the total bypasses many European languages like French and German.
