Saying No

Saying 'No' is an art and needs mental courage. We must say a very strong 'No' to whatever is wrong. also when we cannot perform what is requested, we must politely refuse. Default in performing is worse than saying 'No'. If we just shed hesitation to say, many issues will be solved.

However, this depends on your nature. If you are politician type, you will never say 'No'. It is said that when a politician says 'Yes', he means 'perhaps', If he says 'perhaps', he means 'no' ; and if says 'no', he is not a politician.

For things we are not comfortable with, it is better to say NO to avoid future complications.
Actually, a lot of courage is needed to say it :blink:

It is okay to give any answer to a question depending on occasion. But the issue of saying 'No' is significant when you need to perform something or give money. If you cannot fulfill a demand, saying no politely is best.

Saying No to close ones can often hurt.....both us and the other. We should be able to provide suitable reasons too, if we need to say so to our dear ones, because we can't lose them

Hi Sasi definitely its not easy to say NO to people whom i love and are close to me.We must try to NO even to them if we feel are not able to do that thing for them i know this is hard but we should do it unnecessarily developing hopes of the person from us. :)

saying no is really a big thing as it really needs a lot of courage.i have faced it many a times but sometimes we have to say no for other's sake and for their good.

A timely "no' does a world of good than an ill-timed 'yes'!

The coward will be in constant fear for his inability to comply with his promise made out of fear or hesitation to say No.

Let us ignore such exceptional situations. In normal circumstances, saying No is as necessary as saying Yes.

I agree to what you said but the thing is those who are brave sometimes not be able to say NO there is nothing that brave people say NO easily. :)

Saying no also depends with the situation. If anyone say they want to come to your house, you cannot say no. but anyone forcely serving you the food which you does not like at all then without hesitation you can say no easily

Saying no is not proper generally. Mostly, if somebody asks for something, he is aware of your capability and most probably, he has close relation with you. You need to say no, only if it is necessary to say so.

In given example, if some one says that he wants to come to my house in the evening, I should readily accept and invite him. But if I am engaged in some other function or have to go to other place, I have to say no. However saying no is an art. You cannot say that he is not welcome. I would rather say that it is my pleasure to see you in the evening but owing to other preoccupations, I would not be available and so let us fix some other time/ date.

Saying no is an art, this could be a blunt no as well as an artistic one which says no but the one who gets it never finds hurting.
