How many of you people's marriage have occurred without giving dowry? Let me see at least one person has done an arranged marriage without this evil factor. :dry:

Actually about my father...it was love at first sight...but I forget to share it that time in "Love at first sight" thread. I remembered it now only :P
No I did not give any dowry!! Ours was in fact the most contemporary kind of marriage, a civil marriage before the registrar followed by a reception for relatives and friends, the cost of which was shared equally by me and my husband, no parents' money involved, not even a single rupee!!!

If he take dowry nothing can be done but you can force him to stop dowry by doing their child marriage without dowry..... :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
