Ragging in Colleges

To be frank,Ragging did not just emerge today or yesterday,it was there already for long. :)

Previously it was just a tool for interaction between two sets of different batches.Ragging ensured a development in the skills of speaking and interacting

Now-a-days Ragging is done in total fear.It has 'crossed the line'.It has become more violent and abusive.

It depends on the situational context of a complete ban on ragging.Not everyone think alike,so it will be a tough decision to implement(the ban)

i agree with you Swetha

but when i was in my hostel i really enjoyed the ragging period. so i think its a good for our personality development and our senior is not a ghost so take it easy.

During the Ragging period ,you will think that it is the worst part of my college life but once you have spend your 6-8 month in college then you will realized that it was the best time during the college. It really helps to learn many things :)
