At what age you started to use internet? Have you learnt by your self or some one told to you.

I started to use it in 1997, this was too costly than but I used it sparingly. I was trained by a computer engineer in my office as I am from mechanical side and there was no computer while I did it.

I learnt internet at 58 year. Computer,internet and mobile phone services were not available in my youth. A friend helped me open Gmail A/c in cyber cafe. Thereafter I regularly surfed on Goggle and also entered in email communication with others.

Actually you guys are luckier than us because you are brought up in much advanced age compared to our times. We had no gadgets to support us. But no regrets. The show must go on.

I started using it from 10th class as before that my parents didn't allow me to use it. Earlier when I started using it, I just used to stick to orkut and all such social networking sites but gradually started loving the other aspects of net also.

I passed out BSc Computer science in 2001. Though studied about it, didn't use it. When I joined PG, I created my first id, still I use it to communicate with my friends

I started using internet when i was on 10th. I learnt by myself. My computer subject helps me to learn about internet and usage. Earlier i started using with email and then slowly started using other things. :cheer:

I started using internet from the year 2000. My friend opened an email Id for me and thus I started using internet. Now a day kids are lucky they start at so young age. I hav seen kids around 5 yrs using internet.

You are right, I also started in 1998 but this was too costly them, yes children these days are lucky as they do it almost free.

Yes, you are right. One of my cousin's son aged only 7 years. He's using internet for his studies at london. :woohoo:
