No country for Pakistani Hindus

The Hindus in Pakistan are second grade citizens there. We may conveniently blame Pakistan Government for violation of human rights. But are the Hindus there or their forefathers not to blame for their own sorry state there. Everyone knows that the very foundation of Pakistan is 'homeland for Muslims'. Those who remained in Pakistan after 1947 could ignore this fact only at their peril. The Punjabi understood this and migrated to India unlike Sindhi counterparts.

The same is the case with Hindus in Bangladesh. Even in our own country we have the tragedy of Kashmiri Pandits!!
Really life of those is like hell. They can't live a life of happiness.
Why God is been unkind to them?

India may be an example of unity in diversity.
The tale of Kashmiri Pandits is really heart-rending.Those who lived for centuries in the state have been made to flee their hearth and homes by militants and none seems to care!!

I have read novel LAJJA in which the author has mentioned how the temples were demolished there in Bangladesh.

The tragedy of Kashmir Pandits is also attributable to Talibani type elements inspired by Pakistan.

I have a Kashmiri friend who has to leave his home for no fault. He had a big hotel in Kashmir which after 15 years sold to some muslim on very low rates. His father has to sit at home as he had no job/work at that time when they left Kashmir and even now also they used to visit that hotel as a guest.
I had a Kasmiri boy Koul as my batch-mate in engineering who joined the same company later with me. They came and settled in Chandigarh and never went back. He missed his home place so much.

I met a Kashmiri women in train once she just cried for it and said what is there fault why they were forced to vacant their homes where they were born. :(

I have seen most of the Kashmiris don't want to keep their kids there and send them to hostels for studies.
I think Lajja is written by Taslima Nasrin of Bangladesh.

Yes Taslima Nasrina wrote this novel and she has been running from her country since she wrote it.

India is full of different cultures, religion, language etc. But still India is the worlds's biggest democracy. India has it's problems lime poverty, corruption, population etc. But still India is growing up in all sectors. This growth may be slow, but it's steady. As someone said, It doesn't matter how slow you move, the important thing is not to stop.

Yes there is no doubt about that, India is growing at a steady rate due to its private sector. If government sector was not as corrupt then there was nothing that would stop us from reaching to top.[/quote]

This is deviation from the main issue viz. the agony of Pakistani minorities.
As issue of corruption in government organization is concerned, it may be stated that the source of corruption is private sector. If private sector is holy and corrupt, we may simply progress by privatizing alone. In fact, there is nexus between politicians, bureaucrats, corporate houses, NGOs and may be even the religious groups.
Yesterday I studied in a paper that the muslims are less in pakistan.

Obviously, Government of India should take up matter with Pakistan and ensure that minorities especially Hindus are well treated there. The thread is about the condition of Pakistani Hindus.
