In some articles, I read "Fruits contain a lot of fiber. Sugar content is also soluble. So, by including fruits in our diet, it can help weight loss".
Somewhere else, I read "Fruits will help in gaining weight since it contain sugar content".
I searched a lot of web articles...but not able to reach a good conclusion. What's the truth behind fruits??? :evil: :evil: :evil:

yes some of them contain fats..but if taken in small quantity they wont create any health problems infact they provide more nutrition.
For example - almonds contain more fats and if taken in very high quantity then it causes increases int the cholesterol levels but if taken in small quantity same almonds become nutritious.

I take lots of Almonds everyday. Atleast 4 to 5. Is it ok? Or i should reduce.
Usually these dried fruits contain monosaturated fats which is called as good fats and such fatsare necessary for the body. But this good fat is required in appropriate quantity only. If we take more amount of dry fruits the monosaturated fats increase in our body. As everyone knows anything in excess is not good for body.

Actually Ram raised the query of Water.But the thread is of Fruits.And i comment on one reply about water.

Not all fruits contains that much water. Only Water Melon is one and that too is seasonal. Simple water cannot be replaced with anything, no matter how much fruits you eat.
By taking water contain fruits like water melon and some others which are high in water is not good for health they can take regularly but in little quantity.
The water content in these fruits are no so much that it could cause any health issues. If a person eats 25 watermelons in a day then he may suffer from some health issues. I dont think any one can eat so much.
