I am so unlucky SJ, I never got a chance to give an excuse because I was always in office without fail at 9-30am. Even people who used to come late started coming on time.

In a way yes, I would give the half day who did not give a proper reason. 9-45 was the limit for every one irrespective of posts.

I was in marketing where people are allowed to account for time staying late or going out during office hours. But if some one did not have a proper reason for his late arrival, he would loose half day however late he stayed in the evening.

When I was late to office I will say I went to hospital for check up.

Oh come on Suny i got late because it was raining when i left home and stood under one foot over bridge and moved from there when it stopped.Otherwise if i had not stopped there then i would have reached at time and my clothes would have been wet. :woohoo:
