comments in polls showing ignorance

Many commentators in Polls just give the comment- "I do not know" or some thing like that. I wonder if expressing ignorance can be a comment. I think such comments should be removed by the moderators. whether a poll or a debate or forum discussion, it is no use showing ignorance. One should try to gather some information and then contribute. Apparently, such comments are only for getting points.

Mr. Gulshan .

I am very much agree with your views. But not only comments polls are also like that. Members are creating polls for the sake of earning points. There should be some standard for polls also. It should be verified before getting published.
We are planning for moderating the polls as well. It will be started soon.

And comments with less than 80 characters are not considered while declaring the winners.
I hope putting a restriction like that curbs this practice. Basically it is the content rather than the number of characters which should be the bottom line.
Well there should not be repetition of characters in the poll and smileys should not be counted as text in the 80 character long comment.
Some times people just add ....... or somthing like that to increase there comment.

I feel really irritated when I see some people do not follow the rules and giving only two option. Rewards for top voter and commenter are making people do this!!
I agree with Rakesh. Any attempt to cheat the system should be seriously dealt with. All users- new and old are- should kindly attempt to give meaningful contribution. this is possible by some proper home work and study. Just as cheating in examinations is bad, this is also not good on the site.
