Unruly behaviour in Rajya Sabha

Certain members of parliament made very unruly behavior and even misbehaved with the Deputy chairman Rajya Sabha. They tore papers. All this happened when Bill for reservation of 33% seats for women in parliament and state assemblies was being presented. Although all are free to express their opinions and vote the way they consider right, it is beyond doubt that there should be civilized and cultured behavior at least in parliament. Let us consider whether Parliament is a place for unparliamentary behavior. :angry: :angry: :angry:

Hi gulshan kumar ajmani , this is really a very good thread and here we can see the views of people about the parliament activities.

If we want to explain these activities in one sentence

" School Kids in Kinder-garden knew how to behave well in class room"

Sorry fate of Indian Politics. Stats says that each second they waste in parliament,is equal to loss of money.

Indeed, it should be condemned roundly as is being done by one and all. It is all the more reprehensible as Rajya Sabha which is also known as the House of Elders! Our elders have conducted themselves in a manner that the Chairman had to suspend them and phsically evict them through marshals. It is a new low in parliamentary conduct.Our school children may be taught on good and appropriate conduct by simply asking them not to behave the way some of our great parlimentarians do!

If any body uses vulgar or abusive language, it is said that he is using unparliamentary language. The way some Members of parliament are behaving, the very meaning of parliamentary or unparliamentary needs change.
