Watching sky at night

How many of you have the hobby of watching sky at night, when stars and moon are smiling at you????
Earlier I do have that interesting hobby.....actually it was a part of my life. But busy life turned me to a bad observer. What about you?

One more question.....do you believe that falling stars can give you fortune? According to our beliefs, it's a bad omen of future.

Sandhya I had seen in my child hood but not now. There is a belief that when a star fallen down means a great leader dies.

Hi ..

Its not my hobby but I liked to see stars. Many times I used to sleep on the terrace at night. So that time I can see lots of them even falling stats too...

But I never believed about the relation between falling star an our fortune.

In North India, it's believed that a falling star can bring fortune.....but in South, we think just opposite ;)

I used to see sky at night in childhood but not now. I don't think there is any relation of faling star with the fortune. :)

Why not now?! You should check the now also. It surely feels good and help us to reduce stress of daily work. :)

Not now because now when i climb to the top of my house i just see buidings and no sky. :laugh:

Are you living in apartment or something !? I mean we can see sky from the terrace easily even we having too many buildings surrounding us. :whistle:

Yes i live in an apartment on the first floor. :) I don't have a terrace. :( My house is completely covered i can't see sky too if i had a terrace as there are high buidings sarrounding my house. :evil:

Okay.. Yes it is the problem of apartment.. Even I am living in apartment in city, so having same problem like you. But I used to sleep on terrace whenever I go to my hometown.

earlier it was my hobby also when in school days but in these 3years hardly have done so.
and my elders told me that wishing while star is falling is not good.and it never comes true also. :(

I don't think so.. Lol.. What can a falling star do with our life.. This is all stories made by people. No need to take them seriously.

read in science that when the stars collide with each other or with something in the universe they break and fall down. :P actually forgot the whole concept. :unsure:

If we go to village to relax then we can see big sky,green field and pollution free air to breath.

Yes Ram.. And from that clean sky we can see many falling star too.. And I am sure with that villagers not having any kind of bad fortune.. he he

Needs a little time too.....which is not available in anyone's pocket nowadays....

Earlier, I used to sleep in my terrace till 11 pm or 12 pm with my Vividhbharathi radio on. It's really a nice experience. Just count the stars as dreams....It will give you a lot in return :cheer:
