Friends Indonesia has experienced another serious struck of 8.7 magnitude just 20 minutes ago. Here is the link-

India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand is declared high alert.

Friends tsunami is horrible for both developed and under-developed countries. We cannot tame nature.

Nobody can fight against natural calamities but we may take precautions to minimize damage if forewarned in time.

At 2.10 pm today, earth quakes occurred in many parts of Thiruvananthapuram district, also Kollam and Ernakulam :(
Earlier alert was given that Kochi may hit a Tsunami. But now, the happy news is that that danger is away :)

Hope danger goes away soon. Otherwise people in high alert areas may need to evacuate the place.

Yes.. I have saw it in the news.. That's really horrible.. Hope it not faced Tsunami like they faced in the past.

I remember lots of people died even their dead bodies could not be found in Japan few months back :evil: :( .Its really horrible.Hope every thing is fine there but these islands are really prone to Tsunami something should be done to protect people from these disasters.

Photos which were shown on TV and newspapers were really shocking and the pain could easily be felt by seeing them. :(

We can not over come our nature.This is horrible news.In last Tsunami We lost many lives and some of my friends were in Andaman and they were safe .Thanks God.

Videos were banned?! Why? I think news channels were showing them.


I don't the actual reasons but i guess it was banned as they did not want to creat panic in the public. :unsure:

Fortunately this time it has been a horizontal slide in the plates unlike the one last time which was a vertical one!
