with change of government, even international fame thinker and ideologue Karl Max faces expulsion from West Bengal text books. This invited critical comments from veteran Marxist leader and ex speaker Som Nath Chatterjee.

Marxism is not limited to C.P.I.(M) or the communist parties just as Gandhi is not limited to Indian National congress. Rabindra Nath Tagore is undoubtedly a great poem of international repute. All shades of ideology, social reformers and poets must find their due place irrespective of party affiliations.

I agree. They have no business to complain. But independent non party citizens can certainly have their say.
