Purpose of Life

Life is a fact and this suffices. Purpose is known to one who does some act. God is believed by many to be creator of life. So let the believers contact Him and find out the purpose of life.
There is no purpose behind existence of life of men, animals, inanimate objects, planets etc. These just exist and that is all.

i think that the sole aim or purpose of life is to make others happy.but my life has many purposes i want to prove many people that yes i can also do something and also to make an orphanage house.and for that purpose i have to earn a lot of money.
These are the objects you decided according to your mind. Others may decide something else. But when we say of 'purpose of life', we mean the purpose that the 'creator of life' whatever this means had in mind.
It all depends on the person's perception of life. Some make it a point to make a neat pile of money, some prefer to lose it! Some live to showcase their talents,some prefer to ignore it!! So on and so forth!!

I want to show my talents....let me name it as the purpose of life. Along with it, a good daughter for parents, a good wife for my husband and a good mother for kids :cheer:

What was the purpose of your life at the moment you were born. Definitely none. Hence, life is a natural event and there can be no purpose of life as such. However, you may seek some purpose later in your life. That is really not purpose by a way you decide to love.

Absolutely right. But conceptually, purpose of any thing- even life, should be before bringing the thing in existence. So, purpose of your life should be there before you were born. To elucidate, purpose of a bulb is to provide light. This is known even before making bulb. Similarly, purpose of life, if any, should arise before birth and not after.
