but sometimes being good to those whom we dont know turns up in a bad situation for ourselves

It happens many times but that is the only way to know if person is good or not. :)

I am good person, who always think about others first and then i think about me in most of the situation. I even sacrify many things for others which i own

Inner conscience is also conditioned by family and social environment. That is why 'Beria' community finds nothing wrong with prostitution. All brothers have common wife in Ladakh and inner conscience of people there accepts this.

There must be tangible criteria to say what you do is good or bad. If you do anything for yourself or your family within bound of law and social norms without any unjust hurt to others, there is nothing bad.

Though others decides about us whether we are good or bad but our conscience should believe us that we are good or bad then only we can give chance to others.

Yes, i think i am a good person. I help others and care for others.

It not possible to be good always and everyone in this world comprise both bad and good qualities, so no one can be called as good person (including me). However if we recognize our bad qualities and try to improve it, then there are chances of becoming good person.
