Two Heart-warming Incidents!

I have come two hear-warming incidents involving two youngsters. One is a young boy in a Kolkata neighborhood who has just appeared in his ISC examination and a girl Safia Khatoon. The boy has been trying to spread his idea of making the world green by roping in all to plant saplings in an area turned into a concrete jungle. Unfazed by initial resistance he soldiered on to win support from all quarters. He even thought of a novel way to collect funds for his cause by asking people to give their old newspapers by selling them he has been trying to cover the cost.

Safia Khatoon came across an old octogenarian older than her grand mom at the busy road crossing of Kolkata selling chips to supplement her grandson's meagre income and through facebook gathered friends to raise money for her.Although she accepted the money initially but refused to receive any subsequent donation as she still has enough faith in her ability to support herself! Only she needs a kiosk.Safia and her brigade are busy providing any support she might require.
