That's a good point. We should't feel bad or ashamed from making mistakes..
This fear is biggest enemy and the worst obstacle. You must slay this enemy to emerge as winners!
Yes.. in almost all cases it is the biggest obstacle in our way.. We must overcome to it to get the success. Good said Chinmoyji. :)
Can anyone tell how to overcome this fear?

Yes,every time. I make myself confident, before 5 minutes prior to my presentation, but when i go there, few seconds are reallt tense to me.

Every time,i feel that, now i have got the guts to deliver the presentation,but... still finding the tune to get into it.

Taking the name of my Enemy.. i will try next time.
He he.. Yes just remember the enemy you hate most and update me if its working for you or not.. Then I will also try the same. Ha ha
Once you remove fear, you would speak and speak a lot to increase your comfort level to ultimately turn out to be an effective speaker!
Sandhya your english is good not bad. We speak the same english which we write the difference lies in pronunciation. The way you speak and write a word makes little difference.
Moreover I would suggest you to listen to the english news channels or english TV serials on daily basis. Your speaking quality would improve.

Yes, every thing can be learned through practice only, even if it's our mother tongue
Let me give you a good comedy scene from a Malayalam movie "Achuvinte Amma" meaning Achu's mother.
Though you can't understand it full, I am sure, you will really enjoy it. It's one of the best comedy scenes in Malayalam movies related to spoken English.

Some courses allow students to improve their English speaking skills especially management courses. So such people dont need much introduction on how to speak English fluently. Other have to struggle a lot to learn it. :)

I ahve studied a professional course...yet the problem is we have given stress to written and practical exams only, at that time

The problem is English practice is not done in many institution in India but they expect students to perform well suddenly while attending seminars or interviews etc. Your interest will only help you to survive in such conditions. I think your English is absolutely fine nothing to worry as I think your good with spoken English too.
