In our Andhra Pradesh, they have implemented a rule that for government students government will provide notebooks free that to from 1st class to 8th class only.

This is really good. I am happy for the poor children who study in Government schools

This is good but not enough. Education should be free and compulsory up to Eight class and free for all level. also there should be same schools and colleges for all- poor and rich. Once Mulayam Singh Samajvadi Party Chief rightly remarked that Krishna and sudama should be in same school.

The children are human assets. Our progress will depend on how they are educated. Poverty should be no obstacle. Presently, the unintelligent rich get better chance than meritorious poor. This harms the nation more than individuals.
This is really good.. At least they have taken a step for something like this.. Good one.
Yes education must be free with good knowledge so our education system will grow high.
If education and books are free , it not enough , good efficient teacher is also important which is not been there in government schools
Yes today there is no teacher with good education skills.

But at least , people who don't having education at all because of their financial position, they can have benefit from it. :)
at least government should appoint every class one teacher. but our state for four classes there is one teacher. and that teacher also not well education and not fit as teacher
You are wrong I had seen in tv for all clasees only one teacher how funny is this.
We have discussed it several times highlighting the need to raise the quality quotient of education and free it from the clutches of businessmen. They are going to kill it!!
Yes,this is really good news for children.Government is doing a very good job.Helping children,in education is a really good job.
In our Andhra Pradesh government schools they provide education and even lunch free for the students.
At various places, where the Schools are run by government, there Lunch is given.

At some places the quality is good and at some places not.
At some places, only one kind of food is given i.e only Khichdi

Where ever Government comes, the matter becomes worst.
So,those issues,would be there.

They should take this matter seriously.. After all, its matter for student's health.
Most of the schools serve quality food. In such school the principle directly check the quality of the food. But when good is there then bad also will be. So there are few school where they serve less quality food. So now government started taking action on them
I have seen in various schools in rajasthan that they do give a good food, but still there are also some places where only one food is given which is of not at all good quality.
Government may be looking at it,but i haven't found any difference in 4 to 5 years.
