What is the difference between lemon and lime?

I think we use lemon for making drinks....small one.

About lime...I think it's slightly big than lemon ...no idea :woohoo:
Lime - green in colour "we called as kai"
Lemon - yellow in colour "we called as Palam" :cheer:

Among all Indian languages, I think only malayalam has letter 'zha' in their alphabets. We call it 'Pazham'(meaning fruit). Vinod, I hope you understand it

I think, it's the only alphabet in Malayalam, that can't be written in Hindi. They use 'sha' for such Malayalam words, I have seen in railway station boards :woohoo:

I think lime is Mosambhi
and lemon is Nimbu

Sorry Lime is not Mosambhi.
Lime is one type of citrus fruit which is less sour than Lemon.

Lemon and Lime has different taste.

Lemon - sweet
Lime - Sour
No vinodh,Lemon is always Sour.
As,i have searched and it tells that Lime is little bit less sour than Lemon.

I think we use lime water for cooking and add sourness in the dishes. :)
We can you both. Both have same kind of taste. but lime contain bit more sour thats it. Both are same but from different breed as we have mangoes in different varieties. In the same way
I dont know lemon and lime are different until I read this thread.
