Some time back, there was controversy on Ram Sethu. Supreme Court has asked Govt. whether this could be considered as national monument.

Nothing should hurt person's beliefs too.
According to puranas, it's Ramasethu. Also, evidences are there that a bridge was formed there.
I have not gone there till now. But I heard that, still, if stones put in sea in that area, they won't sink.
I can't commend anything, since I have not seen it. :)

so, I think it should be declared as National/cultural monument and protect it
'Ram sethu' is also called 'Adam Bridge' by some. There is no harm in treating this as national monument. This should be after wide consultation with all concerned. As the Sethu is in sea, other countries like srilanka may also be affected. So, they also need be consulted.
It is a national monument and the most historic as weel. Moreover, 100 million people have faith in it
