There should be strict rule to resist abortion this is crime and like a murder so it should be under section 302

Laws are there, but not implemented correctly!
Yet I am happy with my state. Here most parents prefer a girl to a boy.

SOme opinions of mine are.

1. After delivery of child hospital must give details to police station.
2. Every month one police must check whether baby is there or not.
3. When the baby is not there means they should be jailed for life time.
4. When they applied for bail bail must be 50 lakhs.

ideas are good....but not practical

Even ocean is formed with single drop of water only we all mix our hands to save our girls.

Girls are already showing their importance, thay are better off than boys and parents are taking care of them more than ever before. Government should give them priority in every sector.

You missed the point totally, if the government will give them all facilities people will stop killing them before birth They will not be a burden on us.

All are fearing not about government about dowry if we eradicated it it will be easy for every girl child.

There is already ban on sex determination tests. This should be rigorously followed. There should be strong social campaign against such killing. Punishment also needs be exemplary- Death sentence or life imprisonment as this is calculated and cold blooded murder. The assets of doctors used in such tests should be confiscated.

I think all the big hospitals and doctors with ethics are already practicing fairly, still some quakes are doing this for earning a fast buck.

Doctors also must take responsibility in this when they are avoided no such cases are happened.

A proverb is there in our language, meaning wall/boundary of a cultivation field is eating the crops....meaning.....those who should give birth are taking their lives.

Government should give some money as a gift if a baby girl is born in any family.There should some financial benefits if a girl is born. :)

Such provisions are there in Tamil Nadu...
Also, during Jayalalitha's reign, if a lady stops birth, then she will get 1 pound gold.
I don't know whether such provisions are there now also...better ask Kannan.

I feel keeping rules and all does not show any instant good result.

People always run back of money. If government announce paying some money for the people who gave birth to the girl child. this may work out.
then they should pass rules too.

the first thing government should do is they should cease the scanner shops where people know about the child before delivery whether girl or boy.

Today the percentage of girls as compare to men are very less.This is a great treat for our future life.Government should take some strike action against those who involve in girls killing.
