Of course we go to theatres for entertainment and group of actors are performing to entertain us through their actions, dialogues, romance etc....Of course, a comedian can do many things to keep audience alive. It is often told by great actors that it is easy to make people cry, but it is very difficult to make people laugh. Very often, this supporting actor helps hero and the film to get good response from audience. Who is your favourite comedian......(never consider language)? :)

Yes, nowadays I like Vivek. He has good looks, yet he enjoys to be a good comedian. I really liked his role in 'RUN'......(Madhavan, Meera Jasmine)

He comes to city in search of madhavan and losses his address. Then, celebration of events that occur in his life....really funny
I really liked the scene, when Madhavan saw him and ask him to come to his home. He says yes....Then only he remembers he doesn't have his address. Do you remember that scene?

Its Hindi remake is Run itself...Abhishek Bachan and Bhoomika Chawla. But can't remember its comedian

Let me name some from my language.....Jagathy stays first in every one's heart.... of course, he is the king of comedies......no doubt. Then, the person who is more talented in doing comedies is none other than Mohan lal. Then Sri nivasan (Hero and Comedian), Innocent, Salim Kumar and latest one added to this category is Suraj Venjaaramoodu.
After Jagathy, he is now reigning Mollywood
iam tamilian

santhanam nowadays.

He might have quoted him as comedian whereas he only thought he was a comedian. He was basically a cyclist turned actor.
I love a Raju Srivastava a great comedian of a Great Indian Laughter Challenger show.
I f you come to TV comedians then Bharti the heavy girl is a heavyweight comedian. She does it naturally. So is Krishna.

No I am talking about Krishna as my choice, he is one of my best comedians when it comes to TV artists.
I forgot to mention the names of two ladies-'Kalpana' and 'Manorama' of South Indian films
Hema Malini made a good comedy in Sholey by her over talking. Her repeated dialogue "I have no habit of talking excessive' amused all viewers.

Yu to me keh deti ho ki,mujhe fijhul ki baat karne ki aadat nahi hai,par .... something like this was the line, that hema malini repeats in the movie,at serveral occassions.
I think every actor is as good a comedian as much as he or she is an actor. This is all round talent that makes a good actor.
Now a days Paresh rawal is a good comedian with serious. Have you seen the Hindi movie _Atithi tum kab jowegi.

I liked her role in Sita aur Gita....particularly the comedy scene in police station...when police man says...."Upar", she was hanging in the fan....and her relatives think, she is dead
