Rajendra Nath is Prem Nath's bother. I remember his role in 'Juk Gaya Asman'. I.S. Johar played a role in 'Shagird'. He also acted in the movie 'Johny Mera naam'.

Last year's(2010) National Award for best actor was won by Salim Kumar for Adaminte Makan Abu. He shared this award with Koleveri star 'Dhanush'.

Actually the declaration of winners was a big surprise to us, because Salin Kumar is only a comedian in Malayalam movies...and this is only his third film (of past 15 years or so), that he has done a serious role.
Now, he says, whenever he goes for a function, he see people standing up when he enters due to respect. Earlier he was treated only as a comedian, now as a big star and he was given honour in more than 1000 ceremonies till now, for the past 2 years.

Yes Johar was the real star of Shahird and Rajendra Nath's best performance is, of course Juk Jaya Aasman along with Rajender Kumar
