Caste

I don't prefer this caste as they wont keep food to us. I will see just human beings as friends. Now a days love among people is decreased due to money difference.

But nowadays people are not much caring about castes, except for marriages

Is it caste necessary for marriages also even it is consider for jobs also.

This is existing for such a long period in our country, I mean with so many casts an creeds and to top it all with so many sub-casts etc. These are one of the biggest reason that our country is not at the point where it deserves to be.

Caste system originated as distribution of work. As people specialized in certain jobs, they trained their sons also and the jobs became hereditary. Thus the caste is related to hereditary job. Thus Brahimns (teachers and clergy), Khshtriya( warrior), Vaishva(business) main castes and many sub castes were formed. In course of time, the system degenerated and the caste is related to birth and not job. So, now we have Vaishya in army and Khshritaya in business. There is irrational feeling of superiority or inferiority associated with mere accident of birth in a particular caste family.
We should now discourage this.

It was created and started long years age and still it continue.People must think that everyone is one as we all come from all mighty god.I was a recent example of this.

Yes people are care much about this thing since long.. But I have noticed that this is decreasing in these days. Not all people used to follow this.

Sasikanth actually castes are divided according to the people profession and religion are divided according to God. But the main thing every one should have is humanity and respect towards their caste and others cast and their religion and others religion

friends I study astrology as hobby. According to nakshatra, caste division is made but we don't care for it because, a person born in Brahmin family may be a shudra and so on.
The caste division which we know is being made on the basis of persons mentality and nature of work. It was categorised by our forefathers long ago in the past. Now the world has changed, ages have made us forget such barriers and differences. Still may people shout and talk about caste and religion because they are orthodox by nature.

I don't believe on cast-ism but most of the people believe on it and almost all people in village still don't like to such people of lower caste. :(

Caste system is unjust as practised now. However, as long as caste is basis for various government schemes, this cannot be eliminated. Even opponent of caste system will get the caste benefit in appointment, promotion and other facilities. Those at disadvantage will naturally feel bad.

caste-ism will not be eliminated as people instead of removing it are now a days asking for reservation.like jats now they want to be in that category.so until and unless there is reservation nothing can be done.

I am least bothered about cast and creed. In fact I do not want to use even my surname if not required in mandatory fields. We shall talk a lot about that on paper but do nothing to remove it and when the time would come we shall always favor our cast, religion and area.

When reservation is given according to caste system, many deserving people of upper castes loss their opportunity (of studies, job...). Also, it implants seeds of caste in new generation's mind. I think, reservation should be given not based on caste but according to income. By this way, all financially backward people will get its benefits. Many Brahmin families are there in our country who are very poor. But they never get many privileges. Same is the case of many forward castes
