@ Sarala i see Bhakti channel only when my mother/father is seeing it. :)

@ Sandhya gteat to know that you hear devotional songs. :)

People these days don't like these songs. :(
To be honest I don't hear them.. But I have to when my dad listen them on my laptop.
I have no religious faith and as such devotional songs do not carry meaning to me. However some of these are enchanting. The songsby anup Jalota are superb. I like the song- Aisi lagi lagan, Meera Ho gayi Magan. Also some film devotional songs are also superb. 'O Duniye ke rakhwale' of Baiju Bawra is one.

Why can't I hear devotional songs?
Just before we came to Thrissur main town, we were living in Kodungallur. Opposite row of our house, there is a Subramaniya temple, a small one, but it was really a great thing to hear Subhashitham at 5.30 am every morning and devotional songs will be played every morning and evening(till deepaaradhana). It is really a nice experience to hear such songs and deeparadhana's instrumental music at 'Sandhya' time. I very rarely go to temple. But watch it from my house......temple filled with lamps.
I have a fairly long list which includes ones of Pandit V.B Palushkar, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Ustad Aamir Khan,M.S. Suvalaxmi ( one of my all time favourites) and Lata Mangeshkar!
If you are sitting in front of your PC, then aghupati Raghav raja ram.
I like devotional songs specially Bengali devotional songs.

Does not matter Anand many people don't hear devotional songs because they don't like it. :)

TV channels telecast devotional songs in morning and so the late risers cannot watch these. Radio is not common these days. Actually, it is the musical affect that lends charm to a song- Devotional or anything.
Okay I agree to that, I am a late riser therefore missing them all. But there are very few channels who are broadcasting them any way.
We have Amritha TV.
Do you heard about Amritananthamayi.....?????
