Kashmir V/S Kerala where to go?

I know they are poles apart but given a chance what would be your choice? No, do not worry about lodging, boarding and fare etc. This is courtesy boddunan. Give me reason, why?

I am from Kerala. So I will opt some Northern states...I want to go to UP...because Ram and Krishna born there. Banaras,Kaasi, Ganga, Taj Mahal.....many holy places.I want to go there once. Perhaps I can meet Gulshanji :)

Okay, I thought you will go to Kashmir via Delhi and Ambala. Never mind, you shall have to go on your own cost, UP is not in the free list here.

If you visit Agra, you may definitely see me. You can also see other places like Fatehpur Sikri, Mathura and Vrindavan from here.

I don't see site admin around right now, whom are you asking for tickets? Besides you haven't given a reason so no tickets for you. Try without ticket.

I would like to visit Kashmir, as i have seen Kerala earlier. I like to play in the snow which i never seen in real life.

Kashmir is the first choice if i will be given a choice though i have seen it years ago and have not seen kerala.I don't know if there are still terrorist attacks there?is it safe to go?

There are still some disturbances, but some places are safe, comparatively. One of them is Patnitop just beyond Udhampur. You can have snow there also.

Yes i have heard of this when i went to Vaishno Devi but never gone there :) .I wish to go to Srinagar and see dull lake sitting on Shikara. :)

Not much of a problem, go stay at lakeside, they will register you before you sit in a taxi with details of taxi driver and your phone number etc. They will cross check you. You can enjoy this most in April. For snow, go to Khilanmarg or may be some times you can find it gulmarg also but upto March mid only.

Will plan in summer as i know my kids won't be able to tolerate cold of KASHMIR.Ti is paradise of earth and think we should go there to see it.

But still for us its paradise only.Lot of snow,greenery we can find there which we don't find in Delhi :) .I will try to make a tour plan in May. :)

Yes but to see snow you shall have to go further up. I think in Khilanmarg you can get to see it.

Will think of it once my kids grow up as of now its not possible to go with them anywhere.We have already planned to go to Vaishno Devi when they become 5~6 years. :)
