Now these proposal has been implemented and now the fine for various rules violation has got increased. :( I think people will think twice to violate traffic rules now. :)
Yes, there should be much more strict rules so that there is fear in drivers. There will be less accidents.
Yeah, right. But i don't think that is enough , there should be stricter rules, rich people dont care about fines!

These are not enough, mere penalties do not makes much difference. They should attract much more than financial penalties. I think a mandatory term of imprisonment should serve the purpose even for three days.

You want to say imprisonment is better than to fine. :) In my view they should be fined as well as given imprisonment but i doubt that way Indian government will have to make many imprisonments.
It is not the amount of fine rather poor enforcement of traffic rules that needs improvement and there lies the whole problem!
Yes I have read this in news. In some extents its good too and bad too. But surely this will force people to follow rule more strictly... I guess its good move as there are many people used to break signals and rules at our area.

Its better to come out clearly, this will hike the income of those traffic cops, nothing else.

This is not a news now it has been implemented and now jumping red light can cost you Rs 500/ and heard that if you are caught driving after consuming alcohol you may be charged 5000/ Rs. :)
You know people fasten their belts until in Delhi and unfasten as soon as they enter in to UP.

Is that?!! I didn't know about that... I don't drink so I don't think I need to worry about it but yes I have to take care of that 500 Rs. fine..

But i don't worry for both of them as i don't break traffic rules.I never drink and drive or jump Red lights. :)
Lol.. Even I don't break the rules.. Its just like I need to be more careful on breaking red lights... Now those cops will have more chances to take illegal money from the vehicle owners.. what you say?

That's right they will ask for more money as bribe and people will give them as giving away 1000 Rs is better to give 5000 Rs...hehehe...
Yes.. That's what I mean.. That's why I mentioned that its bad in few point of views. This will surely encourage them for more bribes.. Hope this new rules don't turned on us like that.

These rules will be a benefit for traffic police personnel only they will full their pockets by taking money as bribe from people and people will give the as usual.

Yes mostly all people will give it because they will have to give less money in bribe in compare of what they will give officially.

It happens many times in many places.
Yes people think that way and that is why no rules are followed here.

its not the fault of people its fault of our administration who don't give much money to govt employees so they try to cover it up by taking bribe  from people moreover its due to inflation which is going up day by day. :(
