It is actually Vinod's idea to start such a thread. Just a difference that I am starting this one, on behalf of him. :)
Let us learn some simple and common words of some languages. I think, we can get only Indian words.
As life is a big canvas of different colours, let us start our learnings with different shades of colours.
I am quoting some colours giving meaning in English. Please add your word in your mother tongue. I think, by this way, we can learn at least 7-8 languages. Am I not right?
I am starting with colours. After sometime, another member should start another set of words in his language and we people give its word in our mother tongue. Hoping this thread will continue as a game and not dissappear from our forum very soon.

Sandhya may i know why it is not good for good things? what is the problem of this month. Is it not good for marriages also?
There was a thread earlier also on learning languages. But this is impractical. Just learning some word in forum does not help learning language. You have to learn any language in a systematic manner. But if you wish to write some thing about a particular language, please write an article in articles section. That will benefit more.
Ok. NP. I thought it will just add to our knowledge if not learning the complete language.
Anyways if others also feel the same, we can lock the thread.. :) :)
Already, my work is pending.
I haven't prepared that table yet.

Puneeth, my excel link is not working now. Hoping you go through old threads under education and learning categories to get that thread containing more than 300-400 responses.
