The airlines have no respect for human dignity of the disabled. That is why no wheel chair facility was provided to a physically disabled.

Although this may happen at smaller airports some time due to lack of facilities available as usual. But what I feel, this was not as big an issue as they were ready to help her get down the flight. they will be better prepared next time.

Even the railway stations have such facilities for disabled. It is ironic that an airport does have this.
In India the lot of our physically disadvantaged people is really very shocking. Our attitudes, prejudices all stand in the way of ensuring a fair deal and a life of dignity for them. We insult ourselves by treating like that!
I agree with you but we are part of the system that is no system, whatsoever. It's all Chalta hai.
That does not speak well of a society which treats these categories of people so shabbily. What is ironical that one who boasts of being able today may,God forbid, join this category tommorrow!
I think this is some rare cases generalised.I had seen a lot of wheel chairs in all airports I visited.
Leave airports for the moment! How many such people use airports? What about facilities the general transport system affords to them!!
