That may be a comparative statement as India has more people in average income group than population of US and Russia combined together, 310 and 140 million people. India have more than 450 million people who are in average income group. Am I right friends?

If money in Swiz bank comes to India, it is no longer a poor country
India is not a poor country and not a rich country. It is a developing country

I think, thiruvananthapuram gold will help our india to be richest country for ever...

I like this, yes they almost robbed India, whenever they liked. We were not good enough to retaliate and stop them. They came from all over the world.
India is not poor in any terms - both physical and intellectual! Hope our politicians realize this!

Our politicians are the main culprit. They are the reason behind India is in this stage, who could have been at the top spot.

All are excited to know about the unopened box. What will be inside it?
Some believe, if it is opened, it can cause flood that can sink whole city.
It is believed that real Palazhy (where vishnu resides) is there under his statue, even told we can hear sea roaring, if we pay good attention.

But who is allowing to stay us before him, just 1 or 2 seconds....not more than that :)
But this wealth will not be utilized for betterment of this country. They will keep it locked and sealed. What is the use of such a big treasure if people are still not getting enough to eat.
India is really a poor country because its money is all over the world except here.
Soon India will become rich as it contains lot of wealth in the underground which the kings have kept safely. Now they are been found.

Ya,........if that money comes back to India, it is much more than the hidden treasures of padmanabha......of course
At least, we can say, that temple treasure is in India now, as a part of our country:)
Hahahahha funny comments by both of them you both are day dreaming. I think we wont see that in our life time.
We should consider per capita income or consumption, preferably in kind, for example food calories, cloth, dwelling space per capita. I feel we are poor. Even if you use public utilities, the roads used by us are poor and narrow. As our population is excessive, we have less space and resources per capita.
Actually cities are developing but there are still rural places in India where people earn below 10 per day.
Outside every city or town, living people are poor and their conditions are really bad. Isn't it?

That applies for people living in cities too! Only a low percentage of people in cities earn way above average, but majority still earn barely average or below average incomes! Sorry cannot give actual figures here!
It's skewed pattern of distribution of our national wealth that deprives the majority of their fair share!!

Ditto!!

Most glaring examples if of farmers who actually sweat for an entire year to produce crops and earn measly sums of money, while the middlemen who auction these grains earn way way above what the farmers have got!!
