One idea!!!!
Ask her to prepare daal fry and you should say, I am going to stay with you whole day and help you because I love you too much and now a days I am not finding enough time to help you in Kitchen. That innocent lady will surely say 'Yes', without your hidden intention.
With love, ask her how much ingredients are you adding (with great interest..Ok?). She will be more happy and tell you its preparation. Once it is completed, you should taste it and say...."Very good, excellent dear!", even if salt may be missing
Then ask her, "Your daal fry is really special. Do you add anything extra?"
I am sure, she will reveal the truth.
Then don't stay there at kitchen...leave her and have your daal fry with roti   :P  :)
You will get nice daal fry and I will get its secret recipe. What do you say?
Done??

Ok I will ask her that innocent lady to share her secrets with me. I am sure if she is not busy enough she will let me know. I am sure you are trying to please your hubby today. Just wait and see if I am tactful enough to get it done.
She should not understand our trick. If so, we can't do the same thing second time.

Then EFC (European fried Chicken)......added recently when we came to Thrissur

Idli sambar
Fish curry in our style
Onion vada.....and Moong daal vada
Sandhya, Yes I am a vegetarian, but I eat eggs occasionally!

I have to add onion pakodas in my list too!! :)

Uf reminds me when I was not vegan, Tandoori chicken and Seekh Kawab were my favorite dishes. But due to bird flu, I turned vagan, now I must go back my Punjabi way. Should I? , but who will pay :(
Then settle in Kerala.
Here no bird flu.....only animal flu    :P :woohoo: :P
I find it all together different the taste of dishes while in south. These items taste different while in Delhi or Punjab. Yes I have eaten all vegan mostly in south, they taste great.
