Thank you santosh your site is so helpful to me as my friend is going to buy a new camera.

I had samsung camera with 5mp.
I have sony camera and last I have used it in a local tour which is Digha.
But in my opinion Sony is the best camera with great quality lens to take good pictures.
Now a days I am regularly using my camera in my kitchen......you can see my recipes here
I am using Samsung camera.
Actually I had a great passion to take photos of natural beauty and I have added some in some threads...including the profile picture of beautiful sunset.
The avatar picture you can see here is take through an old camera that my father gave me an Agfa from Germany. Now I have two, a Sony cybershot, I bought in US and the other a DSLR Cannon that I use for sophisticated jobs. I mostly do it for my book about 100 tourist destinations of India and surrounding countries.
I have a digital camera Canon powershot. It was a gift to me from one of my friend years ago.
Yes, I agre a digital camera is best for every use, easy and quick, great results.

10 years before, we have to buy film for taking photos....cannot reuse them....Have to wash them.
Now digital cameras provide instant photos, can take in any number and of course, cheap.
Old camera may be like 'a wonder' to new generation kids, like a BSNL land phone

I have a BSNL land line in my house as I do not want that so famous number missing from my friends and relatives. When it sounds every one wants to listen to that because this makes any of us curious as this could be any body's call.
Since we are like travellers shifting from one place to other, we use mobile phones only. But at home, we still have BSNL connection.
Actually BSNL connection is permanent, we can't believe mobile numbers. They can change daily. :)
I have four houses in totally different places and having two BSNL phones, but one of them will soon go as I am about to shift from Bangalore permanently. The other one is in my ancestral place therefore in my reach, when I am there.
Sunil,
Let me know which languages can you speak? Also which languages can you understand, as you are a traveller?
I can understand 14 but can speak only 5-6. None of them is Malayalam, that is one of the toughest. Mostly from north or east.

Can you understand Kannada?
I think Kannada and Telugu have striking similarities.
You have quoted it right, it is not easy to learn Malayalam, very difficult is its pronunciation. But if you stay here for 3 months, you can learn it. I think so.
Now many people from Nepal and eastern states like UP are coming to Kerala for jobs. They of course, talk Malayalam, though can't get correct pronunciation.

Thank you so much for inviting me to stay in Kerala for three months. Who will spend money for my stay and food?
