I visited hyderabad, bangalore and maharastra. I like maharastra much as there i visited aurangabad - ajantha ellora hills. Shiridi.
Oh thanks for kick starting this thread, actually I was looking for few more replies about peoples experiences here. Any way I liked you liking for Maharastra. I too had been there, although I am from North but stay in Bangalore most of the time. Thanks again.
Oh you stay in bangalore. I love banglore alot as the climate over there is very interesting. I am a south Indian and am from Andhra PRadesh - Visakhapatnam
Nice place Vizag, I had been there to attend a seminar in 2001. I like the place. I am planning to visit Vizag soon if I get the project, I have requested for.
Till the age of 23 I have visited to Haridwar in the city of holy Ganga, Delhi and Chandigarh only.
Nature consists of land of various type- plain, desert, mountains; water - lakes, falls, rivers, ocean; hot climatic and snow clad places. The different types of land, water and climate present pleasure to eyes and mind. I have visited hilly places like Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh; rainy place like Shillong; sea beaches of Goa and Mumbai, Orissa.

I liked Goa most.
Athirapilly waterfalls.....really beautiful
The place where film Ravan was shot. Thick forest for trekking also.
Then Munnar and Ponmudi are nice hill stations. Thick fog at Ponmudi even at noon. Spectacular.
Munnar is famous for its tea plantations and Neela kurinji-flower which blossoms only in 12 years....valley filled with blue flowers. Last occurred in 2006. So you have to wait for some more time to see the next :)

Thanks sir, I too liked Goa a lot and have been there over 200 times as my first posting was in a nearby town of Karnataka and I used to spend my weekends there. I have visited all the states of my country and have enjoyed my stay there.
i have been on sea beeches few times but in my case, its not beauty, its power of sea,his incredible strength excites me.i feel like nothing in front of a ocean.
I visited Visac and Andaman twice. Andaman is the best where you can see sea and mountain together and beautiful nature.

Exactly, I too feel too small while on a beach just keep on staring at it for hours together.
I like it for its vastness and superiority over the others.

If I can remember right this is not possible in one day as there should be about 300+km distance between the two as far as I can remember. Besides Meenakshi and Mahabalipuram are both need one full day to have full darshan of the places.
Meenakshi temple was the first temple I visited......but I was only 6 months or so :)

What a nice memory you have, I can't remember a thing until i was 4-5 years old. But you remember things right since you were only 6months old. :woohoo:
