Hi swetha i thought of starting a french forum and also i asked Maverick about it however you came with such a forum it is really nice......
It is okay to learn any language. However, language is not an end in itself. This is simply a means of communication- oral or written. English, Hindi, Telugu and other languages used widely in India suffice. Let us concentrate more on peace, progress and prosperity of our people rather than bothering about languages.

Come on guys show some interest in learning some foreign languages which might help you in some point of time and it will be really cool
