Its normal and its tradition...its not sati.. its not exploitation..its not humiliation...its not women Infanticide or infant homicide.......its celebration of festival.It's a tradition of Nepal

yes, there are some traditions still existing in India, where a selected girl has to marry God and whole through her life, she can't marry another person. She is called 'Devi'.

Yes they are called "devdasi".This is superstitious I think.

I think this is good practice. This is remedy for getting rid of mangalik / Kuja Dosh.
