What is commitment?
Suppose you are committed to do a task as you have promised. Will you complete it at any circumstance even if conditions are changed, to keep you promise?

commitment defines the same but the application differs
Commitment in work-
If you finish it on time, then your commitment is done
If you finish it on time, but your boss or the result is not accurate, then commitment has not been upto the mark
if You are given a wrong work for the right person, and you finish it and the result is good then your commitment is excellent
if you are given a wrong work for the right person and you finish it and the result is bad then your commitment is gone waste
If commitment succeeds then time invested is aptly done proper
if commitment fails then the time invested is wasted or something worthwhile is learnt

It is not always possible to meet commitments. This depends on individuals. Personally, I implement my commitments even if I am a loser.
Yes. Promises are to be kept. It really affects me, if I commit to do a task and can't complete it.
So, I always think well before giving a word :)
I agree with Swetha totally! As far as commitment is concerned, one should first think hard if they are going to be able to meet those commitments and only then accept them. Accepting without realizing their potential may end up with a job done half halfheartedly and that is not commitment!
Sandhya, you have your rubick cube and u are committed to solve it but you are unable to get the result!
:)now you tell me,in what condition will you fulfit it?
I have not committed till now that I will solve it.
Just trying....now stopped!
Tell me, how many of you have solved it? :P
Sandhya with out commitment to your parents or friends your life will be nothing. Just think of your past you will get some where in your life that you was committed.
Sasi....
I was replying to Swetha about rubick cube. What did you think????? :woohoo:
Everyone has commitments in life...at least keeping relationships.
As a person, I think, most commitments will be after getting married and becoming a parent.
I think parents have more commitments than others, if their children are still minors :)
