I agree with you. I think private companies are doing their best for making the goods..

The private business have their quality control system. As they are the ones who indulge in deliberately making substandard goods and other irregularities, govt. intervention is necessary.

The ethical awareness on the part of private producers as well as the effective and efficient discharge of statutory duties on the part of governments can only ensure better protection of rights of the consumers.
