I love the haunting melodies of the film 'Mera Sayaa' by great Madan Mohan in Lataji's voice! Madan Mohanji had an Army background!!

You seem to be patenting all these!! Really these are amazingly beautiful songs and I, from the core of my heart belief, Lataji is a phenomenon. Songs like the ones you mentioned ,touch the very depths of our minds. She is a wonderful gift of God!

She is in my soul and she is the most inspiring person of my life, till now. :)
Ditto! I live with a desire to touch her feet one day! In my very personal moments of life her songs soothed my troubled my minds so many times as those might have done to millions of her admirers! That way I owe a debt to her as I do to my parents - a debt which can never be repaid!

The land of Maharashtra has produced a galaxy of greats in various fields but Lataji belongs to a rare class. Her gifted voice,her early struggles and sweet persona - all have combined to give her a very very special place in every heart of this country!
Among all Bollywood singers, only she can sing in 3 octaves. Also Bhimsingh Joshi can sing in 3 octaves. All other singers can sing up to 2 octaves.
But I don't know, what is this '3 octaves', even if I searched google several times, some days before. Do you know anything about 3 octaves, even if you don't classical music???

I love Hindustani classical music sans its grammar! But to my layman's understanding it's the unstrained vocal range.
