Sometimes it may be a tourist place, a holy temple or even a friend's home, which made you very happy and forget all worries. Now also, you may be thinking about that particular place and events related to it. Reason may be the significance of the place or the person(s) who was with you :) . Do share some.

hmmm....i watched about elephants today and was wondering if it is legal to have them as a pet..... ;) ;) ;) so my husband told me that elephants are being taken care in kerela...

Now i am thinking about it...... :cheer: :cheer:
I have visited so many places in my life that I have lost count on them. But the most beautiful place for me is Haridwar for a particular reason, although I'll keep it a secret. I visit there often for a day or two.
I have heard Kerela has very nice and exotic holiday destinations..........my friend in college used to say about it.......somewhere near to Ernakulam.......

Idukki district...I think so....places close to Karnataka border are really great. Once, we went to Mysore by car. At noon, it appeared as if it was early morning, full of mist. Really a wonderful experience.

Thekkadi is good. Munnar also.Athirapilly waterfalls of Thrissur district. In Kottayam district, Kumarakom is a wonderful place to see.

In TVM district Kovalam, Ponmudi, Veli lake etc.

Sandhya, it seems there are So-many places in kerala!:-o
I will try to make a trip to all places which you have mentioned:)

Vinodh this is not that many places are beautiful but all th places in Kerala are beautiful. I have seen them all, well almost.
The most beautiful place I have ever visited is Haridwar in Uttranchal. Beautiful and sacred river Ganga purifies the body when we take bath in it.
Everyone is saying, Kashmir is the most beautiful place in India. Is it right?

Naturally yes, but the violence has taken some of its beauty away. I have visited every corner of Kashmir, it fascinates me.

Whole Kashmir like that? Ya only border?

I think snow mountains, streams and beautiful flowers have made it a paradise. But what to say :(

Whole of Kashmir including Jammu is under the influence of terrorists. I left a project I was doing for BRO (Border road organization) due to them in Rajouri district.
Mostly tourists are the army personnel's families or mostly people going up to Patnitop the beginning of the valley. Then of course if you can call visitors who are going to Vaishno Devi as tourists.
Hi all
The best places where I had been and I love them to to visit again are
Haridwar, Dheradhun, Rishikesh and Vaisno Devi.

Only army people and there family can visit Jammy & Kashmir isn't it.? If normal person needs to visit those places they need lot of procedures and permission has to be taken... what you say.? :(
No this is not mandatory to take permission, but you do not feel comfortable there as you hear terrorist violence news every once in a while. Of course there are some places where you need permissions but that is every where which are bordering places with other countries like, Arunachal, Nagaland, Manipur and so on. .
I don't want to take such huge risks
I had been to all these places for some time or the other. That is risk and fun both.

If we cross the border without permission. then the enemy will shoot us without our permission...!!?

Cross border? You can not even reach it, as the Indian troops would do the same if some one found nearing border without permission.
