Sometimes it may be a tourist place, a holy temple or even a friend's home, which made you very happy and forget all worries. Now also, you may be thinking about that particular place and events related to it. Reason may be the significance of the place or the person(s) who was with you :) . Do share some.

I have never explored the southern culture and people of this region.
Heard that there is various good places.Various hill station too.Arabian sea and Indian Ocean in Kerala.
If anyone know,please tel me.
There are various southern Indian Members here,so they would be knowing.


I too never gone to south India.Hope i will have a plan to visit there in future. :)

Some days before I visited Vilangan hill ...2 kms away from present home. To watch the whole town and water filled paddy fields in acres from hill top is really a pleasant natural gift. But I forget to take my camera.

I have seen almost all churches, temples, mosques and Gurudwaras worth their name wherever I visited despite not being too religious.

My favourite holy place is Darga-e-sharif. I have visited their twice. I would like to go there again and again. It is situated at Ajmer, Rajasthan.

I wanted to go to Jaffna also but that was not safe those days, so changed my program.

As usual I go to many places but my trip to Jim Corbet national park in May for two days was a great trip, although we did not see any tigers.

Oh this topic makes me miss travelling. B) I love going places and exploring. :) Of those I have visited Udaipur and Nainital are my favorites :)

Nainital is my favorite place too where I have visited 100s times and have stayed there for a few months while my father was posted there for a short period.

That is the only thing we miss in Nainital, there is no night life there and almost every place is barren after 8-9PM. a few people around Maidan or opposite boat club that's all. I too have thousands of photos to share.

I had a different experience though. Maybe because I liked it that way with only few people around and the twinkling lights around the lake plus the weather. :cheer:
