Question which never gets answer 'Yes'

From this forum I read the answer is

When a person says are you a sleep then the answer will be no.
But some time when we are sleeping if anyone ask then we may say sleeping also.

see sandhya. suppose i am chating with you and suddenly I stopped chating without informing you I slept. When you pinged me alot of times due to that sound I wont. then you asked me , are you sleeping, I said yes.
