TV content aren't they crossing limit

tv series works on popularity themes ,so it becomes utmost important to producer to sell his serial & collect his investment atleast .

so he uses tactics that crosses line

Any story that are being watched by public should be designed in such a way that they should send a beautiful message to the public and inspire them to do goos to the society.

But present TV content are not doing its job.

Well TV is just a tool for entertainment and upgrading knowledge. It all depends on individual using it.

You rightly mentioned one thing is that, some contents are just put up by producers to earn higher TRP. TRP depends on viewership that is people like us watching the particular programme. So indirectly it is in our hands to make the programme popular by viewing it or not.

So next time you see some irrelevant news broadcasted by a particular news channel which continuously does so, just programme that channel to skip or child lock mode for one month. So whenever you surf the TV channels the skipped channel will not appear on your TV set. This will automatically reduce viewership of atleast one person that is you. If many of us adopt this technique who find a particular channel irrelevant the TRP will reduce and the channel broadcaster will realise that such broadcasting is only going to reduce his channel's TRP and will surely improve the content next time.

TV serials are really destroying human relations and also wastage of time.

There are many bad programme in it try to avoid it

Our children get badly affected by the excessive addiction to TV programs.

Dont watch serials at all. It corrupts our mind. The makers dont have any kind of moral responsibility towards our society.

The TV Channels have their own commercial interest to pursue which do trivialise current important issues but the viewers too are responsible to a great extent.Now we have the freedom of choice it just one flick of the remote to switch channels.

The TV serials are just repeating same trivial news the whole day and many of the serials are useless. So far there is no problem. It is for viewers and TV telecaster. But my concern is more with the publicity that orthodox black magic, religious based superstitions and all type of stuff conncected with astrology, so called Sadhus, Vaastu shasris and Pandits is polluting minds of our people especially children. TV is not educating but miseducating people.

This is not the whole truth.
We have plenty of channels which are very educative and informative. Discovery, Animal Planet, National Geographic , Fox History, Travels & Living etc. You have always choice to navigate channels. Its depends on the individual, what he/she wants to choose. Every things has its own pros and cons. That is you who has freedom to choose the right or wrong ones.

The channels mentioned by Kumaresh are educative and raise general knowledge. But these cannot eliminate the ill effects of the numerous channels day and nigh polluting minds of innocent people by propagating superstitions, tantrik, astrological and other such stuff.

Yes i accept to all your views they forget for they started this news channel they started for telling people what is happening around them however they forget and make a small issues into big one and cause a hell a lot of problems and they don't care about people just TRP rate is their first aim and so on.......

The TV serials are commercial. It will not be fair to expect them to send social messages for nothing. They earn by entertaining and getting advertisements based on TRP value.
However, we may expect them not to telecast serials encouraging practices like child marriage, caste system, orthodox beliefs, unscientific notions, astrology etc.

afterall,they believe in selling entertainment.they don't care about limits unless money is flowing to them. :(

Well coming to the present forum, I do watch serial....

Some serials are very informative and useful to see, like "Jhansi Ki Rani" in Zee TV.

Serials are informative ?. I dont agree with Deepthi. They are totally rubbish. There is no historical evidences are there for the historical serials. They are exaggerating the facts and makes dramas for the public. All serials have negative impact only.
