Yes,i have heard in discovery Channel or at National Geographic,that Animals do commit suicide.I don't know the reason behind it.

Are they really committing suicide? Or is it because, they got attracted by the illusion and falls into the trap? (As we compare with man?)


I only know now that Parwana is insect. I thought it is a lamp with shama the light.

The insects are instinctively attracted to light and die in the process. The affect of the attraction is death. Any action by one causing own death is suicide. Thus the parwana commit suicide. But there may be no intention to die. This is simply a natural phenomenon.

yes, animals also commit suicides.they also have emotions. My mom used to stay in tata. when they have shift from there to Andhra then their pet dog has committed suicide by stating on the railway track.

Ants have an adorable philosophy of hard work and I wonder if they ever get any time to think of committing suicide - they remain ever busy even hoarding food in the summer for the winter!!!

People near has noticed it. and they told us. After my mom's family shifted, many tried to adopt that pet dog but it didnt give them chance and commited suicide as mom's family decided to leave it in that place only.
