Dear Boddunanians

Did any one of you or few of you tried peanut butter or peanut spread?

One is sundrop peanut butter/nutella peanut butter

I heard it has lot of iron? Do you eat or give to children?

Swetha i did not hear up to now about the peanut butter. How will you make it.
you can buy it sasi. It is basically a bread spread or a spread with roti.

It is made with roasted peanut with heat and it actually forms a paste like consistency
As it carries a lot of iron it will be healthy to us and children specially to pregnant .
I like peanut candy ......made with peanut, jaggery and sometimes a little cardamon :)
Ya in foreign countries people do use peanut butter much more and on a daily basis but before giving it to children you should check that any of them are not allergic to it. There are many who suffer peanut allergy.
I love peanut butter and I used to have it regularly once upon a time. But now for a long long time, somehow I have not managed to buy! I like it spread on a slice of bread! SLurrrrrpppppp! :) Yummmm! I ma just going out to get it now soon! :)
This is the first time am hearing about this peanut butter. Can we make at home.
I heard about peanut butter earlier but i didn't try early. Now, i will try to have it as it has more iron and good for health. :)

Thanks for the share.

Of course Swetha, you can eat it as much as you want, provided you don't have any allergies to peanut, it is very nutritious and contains a lot of iron and vitamins. I will try Nutella hazelnut cocoa spread, just reading the name is making my mouth water, is it sweeter in taste, by the way?

Yes, Sarala, it can be made at home although taste will slightly differ from the one available in market!
kalyani ji, just try it once, you will feel as if you are swimming in hazel nuts and chocolate

The reason i chose hazel nut is it is rich in vit B6 as well as the combination of chocolate is so yummy, you will feel someone has gifted you 1000 chocolates :)
Swetha can you please tell me how to prepare it in home itself.
Sarala, i generally dont prefer you make it at home as it will be of different taste.

However, i have this video you can watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDNxGBFt0mU
I like peanut butter. I eat this with chapati and bread. I like crunchy flavor most.
I heard and also tried peanut butter but I didnt liked much. Yes it is nutritious for kids and young adults but not for older people. Peanut has more cholestrol so it may not be good for adults.
i tried crunchy peanut butter for one week and i dislike it totally

It has thrown my digestive system in jeopardy !!!!!!

:( :(
