I have a CD full of lataji's songs...it's one of my best assets till now. I don't know how I get almost all her best songs in a single CD.
I will try to find her best 10.....my favourites

Once I started writing, I began to respect lyricists. That may be the reason. Also, I was a great admirer of vividbharathi. We get full details of a song through this. When he hear it repeatedly, we will remember it for sure

Lataji has sung only one cabaret song whole through her life while most songs of Asha's hits belong to this category. One thing I admit, even after reaching 76th year, Asha's voice is still 16. I really wonder how she sang "Lucky lips" for a 16 year old girl.
Asha is also versatile, because her list includes variety. Yet Lataji's voice touches my soul most.

Oh Saathi re.....I love Kishore's version. Actually, I often feel tears in my eyes when I hear it 'achanak' or surprisingly. I don't know the reason.... it affects me a lot :( :( :(

Ashaji is also my favorite singer.She sang many famous Bengali songs.I love those songs.
