Anti-Zeal elements of Boddunan

The editors, moderators and administration need be more prompt and regular. The members especially new ones are discouraged by delay in approval of articles, announcement of award, payment etc. A time schedule should be fixed. Like citizen charter, we also need Boddunan charter.

i think its a great solution..the time taken in approval of every article should be fixed.

yes now a days the editors and moderators are so busy so the articles are getting late approval as per gulshan ji views it is best to be fixed.

Sometimes admin approves articles within two days and in other cases t takes more days .That is little bit frustrating .

I am actually very sorry that this sort of unpleasantness is occurring here, but I can only speak for myself. I do try to review and approve the articles within 24 hours but sometimes I am not able to do it quickly because of personal issues. But the fact that disappoints me even more is that I am seeing that even articles I have approved 4-5 days ago are still not published - something that is not within my or other editors/moderators' scope. It is entirely within the scope of the admin team, which I guess is too busy to even notice this thread! :( I hope the scenario changes soon.

Gulshanji, in few words you have very well explained the exact problem. Promptness is where this site lacks and it is really demotivating and discouraging not only for new members but for all. And your suggestion is just superb, I hope admin team takes a note of it.

Kalyani, I would like to take this opportunity to say I really like your promptness as editor because earlier also when I had query regarding my article, I messaged you and got your reply very quickly. And this happened not only once but every time whenever I messaged you asking my query. Thanks for that and believe me not every editor is as prompt as you.

I totally agree with vidhimayur here...kalyani mam you are doing full justice to your job as i have seen an article of mine getting reviewed and approved by you within hours of submission...but unfoftunately it is yet to be published :(

DEVEN you are right kalyani mam is doing her job in correct time but where is the other moderators.

I totally agree with you Vidhi.I find each and every article of mine is approved by kalyani mam and I find many reviews are approved by her. Mam though you spend an hour hardly,You are very much dedicated at boddunan. Thank you mam.

Kalyani mam is the best moderator of the site up to now i had seen her only but the others i dont know due to lack of participation of them.

May be other moderators might be so busy in their work. But I expect all the other editors to participate actively in this New year.

There must be some rules for moderators so they will be active but the admin must take responsibility of this.

It goes without saying that editors and moderators have to be more punctual than other members. Other members are bothered about only self contribution. The authors look for early approval of their articles and points/ cash. Unless the editors are regular, the authors will be discouraged. similarly, some moderators are assigned job of various awards and competitions. Unless they are regular, there will be delay in declaring awards and some times, these may be even improperly given in haste. We do not need rules for the norm of regularity as this is very obvious.

Gulshan ji i had an idea for the moderators.Once the article is alloted to the moderator he must give a mail by the site so he will check the article so there wont be no delay of time.

This is a good idea and i believe its practically very difficult. Lets wait and see the actions that boddunan takes on this.

Arun this will be so easy alloting will not be quite tough.When alloted means they will come on that day to the site and they will do their work regularly so there wont be any blockage of articles.
