Lokpal bill

India is quasi federal state. Trinmool congress is right to raise objection of including Lok Ayukta provision in central law. At best, center could circulate model Lok ayukta bill that should be option and not compulsory for states. I think center should consider the just objection of Trinmool congress and pass the Lok pal Bill thereafter.

Delay does not matter much. There should be no hurry. It is better to delay than do bad job.

Yes gulshan ji delaying is not a problem but it must be approved after delaying this is better for us.

Let us hope the bill will be effective to deal with corruption. However, there is no want of legislation even presently. There are courts, CBI, vigilance organization to deal with corruption. But most people are corrupt. Corruption benefits all parties. The bribe taker and giver both benefit.

As long as you do not complain, nothing happens- Lok pal or no Lok pal. In this context, we may see that Raja and others have been booked for 2G scam even without Lok Pal. subramaniam Swamy has done this under existing law.

Well I think this Lokpal bill will remain in court or any bill will be passed by the name of Lokpal bill which will actually some other kind of bill as our anna is ill and will not take any action for one month.

Parliament does not run for whole year and for one bill only. The Lok Pal bill may be discussed and passed in next session of parliament known as budget session. There will be many bills including union budget. Unlike Team anna, the Union government cannot work for one issue only. Let us hope that the parliament will do what is best for the nation. Theyhave nothing to do with anna and his team.

What is significant to note is that Anna team is virtually crippled without
anna. How can such team work.
